HAPPY HUNTING, Directed by Louie Gibson & Joe Dietsch

Happy Hunting follows Warren, a degenerate drifter, suffering from debilitating alcohol withdrawals on a daily basis. On his way down to Mexico, he becomes stranded in Bedford Flats, a one-horse town nestled deep in the American desert. It was a once-prosperous hunting community that has been reduced to an impoverished dust bowl. Unfortunately for Warren, it turns out that the town’s pastime is rounding up drifters and hunting them as part of an elaborate sporting event. To make matters worse, he'll go into alcoholic withdrawal unless he finds a way to stay loaded. It all builds to a blood-soaked, live-or-die showdown in the desert.

Imagine a world void of people and life as we know it. Yet this world displays evidence of very recent human occupation. The power is still on, buildings still stand - everything is as it was, except everything living has vanished. This is the shocking reality Darlan suddenly finds himself in. His story begins in a bed within an empty hospital. Upon opening his eyes, he remembers nothing, but quickly gleans a few disturbing facts. Darlan is dressed like a criminal and armed with a crowbar. Nearby is a smashed pharmaceutical cabinet... The signs are grim and imply something nefarious - and these are the only facts Darlan has to go on. He knows instinctively that things are wrong, and that his reality has been radically altered. Darlan must try to distinguish fact from fiction one pain-staking step at a time...

HOLY HELL is the over-the-top, outrageous, sexually-deviant, blood-drenched story of Father Augustus Bane: a priest pushed too far who begins praying to a revolver and hunting down the gangsters who killed his parishioners. Having been described as "DEATH WISH meets THE TOXIC AVENGER, by way of HOBO WITH A SHOTGUN" (nerdly.co.uk), HOLY HELL is a modern take on classic Action, Horror and Exploitation film tropes. The goal of this feature length movie is to break through every limit set by film, taste and reasonable societal behavior: all with anarchic glee.
